The Medical Technologist performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens through the use of complex laboratory techniques. Provides medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis. The Medical Technologist performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Service Standards.
Medical Technologist Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience:
Experience:
- Up to 3 years acceptable clinical laboratory experience as a certified Medical Lab Scientist/Medical Technologist or equivalent or
- Certification eligible new Medical Lab Scientist graduate
Certifications: Current certification as Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Scientist or categorical certification, through ASCP or equivalent.
